• Vocal artist - frontman in the group Voltaj ’88 (1994-1997); Discography includes three albums released on CD, tape and vinyl;
• Studio performer, featuring as special guest on the albums and in the live performances of the Romanian bands Timpuri Noi, Taxi, Cargo, Pro Consul, Directia 5, Talisman, Phoenix, and individual artists such as Silvia Dumitrescu, Cătălin Tarcolea, Ilie Stepan, Ştefan Bănică Jr., Analia Selis and others;
• Vocal artist and co-founder of the group Blue’s Convention, together with Florin Ochescu, since 1996;
• Present on the front scene of clubs and concert stages both at home and abroad for the past ten years, having performed in an inexhaustible number of concerts ranging across an eclectic variety of musical genres, such as blues, jazz and rock, alongside performers like Mircea Tiberian, Anca Parghel, Johnny Răducanu, Garbis Dedeian, Decebal Bădilă, Marius Popp, Ion Baciu Jr., Nightlosers, Corneliu Stroe, Sorin Romanescu, Black Cat, Quo Vadis, Big Mamou; joined with Larry Coryell, The Bluesbreakers and The Scorpions for impromptu jam sessions;
• Featuring with five title tracks on the album RADIO BIG BAND BLUES – LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL, released in 2002?;
• Musical soundtrack producer in the Romanian show Eu dacă vreau să fluier, fluier (‘If I want to whistle, I whistle’), directed by Sorin Misirianţu;
• Live jazz tour in France, together with the group 4Given, 9-17 October 2004;
• 2005 marks the release of the new CD “Berti Barbera & Nicu Patoi – Confident Stories – Live in Timişoara”, a unique package in Romania due to the exceptional and as yet unprecedented quality of the recording;
