NICU PATOI
You can rarely meet a guitar player as Nicu Patoi. He is an artist who unveils through his instrument, his character, education, passion and the joy of playing and who discretely provokes at the same time, the curiosity to find out the unseen parts of a complex artist.
You never succeed in guessing the resources that he uses in order to accomplish his role as an excellent accompanist and session musician, an important member of all the bands he joined, from the rock attempts of his adolescence to the serious projects that he is being involved in at he present moment , including his own band.
Despite the young guitar players’ tendencies of showing off their extreme technique and the digital stunts, Nicu is an artist who uses a multitude of skills in a subtle, well proportioned way, combining in balance the clarity of the chords with the moments of solo refinement, speed and feeling. A performer with a mathematician’s rigor and soul of an artist, who shines everytime he touches his guitar. |

Exactly to defy superstition and primitive mentality, to conceive an act of normality in a desolating landscape formed by talentless semi-products, Band Nr.13 shorlty became the number one cover band. With an experience formed in professional groups with sustained activity and original material, the Nr.13 members join this formula to pay a tribute to the great artists, those who made them choose music for the rest of their lives. Each song is approached with respect for the original and a personal touch. The pleasure of playing, the good performance and the hot atmosphere bring up a devoted audience.
Each weekend, The Music Club or any other stage where Band Nr.13 is performing become the place where people celebrate a spanning of 50 years of modern music. That’s what happens when some people know how to make music and the other know how to have fun.
